Aetna extends its health and wellness initiatives

As part of its continued commitment to total employee health and wellness, Aetna Global Benefits (AGB) has launched an online wellness centre for its expatriate members.

Created to help combat some of the prominent health conditions in the region, including cardiovascular disease and cancer, the tool will provide all AGB Europe health plan members with information and resources to help them achieve their optimal health. It is designed to support members whether they are healthy, at risk of disease or injury, managing a chronic condition or experiencing a major health event.

Debra Williams of AGB says,” We believe encouraging healthy lifestyle choices will help to promote patient compliance with care and medication instructions, impact health outcomes and decrease health care costs."
