Friends Provident is to start selling protection products through Tesco Personal Finance.
Tesco Personal Finance currently sells life and other protection insurance provided by Direct Line. Existing customers will continue to be underwritten by Direct Line, but once the new deal is in place Friends Provident will handle all new protection business.
No date or product information will be released until later in 2009.
