Speculation is mounting that Rupert Everett has become the latest big-name celebrity to take advantage of cosmetic surgery after the star was spotted looking more fresh-faced than ever.
While the Englishman has become well-known over recent years for his rugged looks, including near-permanent stubble, he shocked fans when he appeared on the Martha Stewart chat show in the United States looking much younger than his 49 years.
In addition to being clean-shaven, his forehead wrinkles appeared to have been ironed out, while even his once-tousled hair had been smartened up for the cameras.
Unsurprisingly, rumours are now rife that Everett is enjoying the benefits of a number of cosmetic surgery procedures, with the Daily Mail citing online sources claiming he now looks "ten years younger".
However, a spokesperson for the actor has played down such speculation, maintaining that "he hasn't had anything done and doesn't need it".
Everett shot to both critical and popular acclaim through his leading role in Another Country back in the early 1980s, while in more recent years, he has appeared in An Ideal Husband, as well as lending his voice to both of the Shrek sequels.
