Comparison site Onlyinsurance.com has launched a private medical insurance price comparison service.
The PMI service compares 100 health insurance plans, ahead of predicted rises in the demand for PMI in the near future.
The Only Group head of personal lines, Ian Hall, says Onlyinsurance.com’s aim is to be in the vanguard of the emerging online PMI market.
Citing NHS waiting lists and a current lack of online PMI providers (in stark contrast to travel and motor insurance) he believes that the firm can lead the way, and is able to offer popular products from established private healthcare organisations (such as BUPA , AXA PPP healthcare and Freedom Healthnet).
