Fraxel laser treatment is one of the best
non-surgical cosmetic procedures for the skin, an expert has claimed.
According to Dr Georges Roman, a French aesthetic facial and body rejuvenation expert, the fraxel laser is a "fantastic machine".
Unlike normal lasers, which tend to result in red, swollen and peeling skin, the fraxel laser is less likely to cause unpleasant side-effects.
The laser penetrates deep into the dermal layer of the skin, stimulating the cells that produce collagen and improving the appearance of the skin.
Dr Roman, who specialises in
cosmetic laser techniques at London's Devonshire Medical Clinic, commented: "Scars, lines, open pores - they all disappear with the fraxel laser. It improves and tightens the whole skin.
"You get this fantastic new skin - and all without the side-effects of having a peel. After three treatments, you renew 60 to 70 per cent of your skin without any damage."
