Annual policies beneficial to frequent travellers

People who travel abroad more than three times a year would probably benefit financially from taking out an annual travel insurance policy, according to the head of insurance research at Moneysupermarket.com.

Peter Gerrard suggested that in such circumstances, "It is more beneficial really to take out an annual policy. Annual policies are so cheap now."

He stated that while they used to cost a couple of hundred pounds, a person travelling only to Europe can now get an annual policy for "just over £30".
