Recognising that people who travel regularly to France and may have a holiday home there, fall between normal expatriate health insurance, residency status and travel covers, Exclusive Health care has launched the Platine Plan.
UK residents with a holiday home, or who are in the process of moving to France, may not be regarded by insurers as qualifying for expatriate health insurance, nor qualified to receive treatment under the French medical system. With homes in two countries, conventional travel insurance covers on cancellation, delay, baggage etc are probably not needed.
The Platine Plan is designed for people living in France who are not residents or not eligible for membership of the French NHS. It is a high-level full cover policy with an annual Policy Limit of €400,000 per person insured. The territorial limits are restricted to France. Accident and Emergency cover is extended to the UK and to all other countries of Europe for 90 days in each year.
Palatine offers a full range of medical insurance benefits.
