Aetna Global Benefits targets Middle East and Africa

In a bid to focus greater efforts on the overall health and wellness of its customers, Aetna Global Benefits has launched an online member Wellness Centre.

Created to help combat some of the key, developing health conditions in the region, including cancer and coronary artery disease, the tool will provide all Aetna Global Benefits (AGB) Middle East and Africa health plan members with information.

Increasingly, Aetna is being approached by governments and international businesses looking for solutions to their unique health care needs, says Mark Bertolini of Aetna, "We believe there is a great opportunity to export the innovations we have developed here in the U.S. to drive growth in this expanding global market."

Aetna Global Benefits is the health insurer's unit offering expatriate and health administration services businesses worldwide.
