A chartered and HPC registered physiotherapist with a three or four year University degree followed by appropriate on-going post-graduate training will assess, diagnose and carry out the appropriate treatment suitable for your particular condition.

How long will my treatment take?

Treatment sessions can vary but generally are 30 to 60 minutes in length, your therapist will determine the frequency and length of treatment you require depending on your condition.


Do I need to be referred?

No, you can self refer to a chartered physiotherapist. If you have private health insurance, some schemes may require you to obtain a doctors referral. Please check with your private medical insurance scheme to see if this is a requirement.


Communication with GP/consultant/referring partner

They ensure that regular reports are produced and sent to your GP/Consultant or referring partner to ensure progressive communication of your condition.
