City Psychology Group (CPG), is based in both Harley Street and Liverpool Street, London. They are a specialist psychology and psychotherapy practice with extensive experience in treating conditions that develop as a result of everyday pressures and stress.
CPG employs a variety of mental health professionals including chartered psychologists and psychotherapists. Its Founding Directors are Dr Michael Sinclair (Head Psychologist) and Raoul Barducci (Practice Manager). All CPG professionals have significant experience in their field, having worked in large NHS and private hospitals, organisational and corporate settings, specialist mental health clinics, universities, schools, and GP surgeries in and around London. All CPG consultants are registered and accredited by the leading professional bodies within their respective disciplines, and all abide by their respective code of ethics. CPG place strong emphasis on the importance of maintaining professional relationships with other healthcare providers such as GPs, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, other medical specialists, hypnotherapists and other alternative therapists. CPG’s experienced psychologists may prompt you by asking questions and making observations to help you develop a better understanding of your situation. Both you and your psychologist at CPG will work as a team to define goals and solve problems together. The counselling process will provide you with a supportive, non-judgmental and empathic space to help you sort through your problems.
The length of therapy depends on the nature of the problem, and your motivation. Sometimes one session will be enough and, at other times, a number of sessions may be required.

CPG and all its practitioners are registered as providers of psychological healthcare and treatment with all the major private medical/health insurance companies, including AXA PPP, BUPA, CIGNA, PruHealth amongst many others. With regards to private medical insurance, you may find that you need to meet with a psychiatrist first to validate a claim. In this case CPG can help you to arrange this with one of its specialist consultants (please also see 'Fees and Insurance').
