QEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback for ADHD
A quantitative electroencephalogram (QEEG) is a painless investigation that provides information about how the brain is working. Research shows that individuals with ADHD display a particular pattern on QEEG examination associated with an inability to maintain concentration. Neurofeedback is a technique to train the brain, normalising brain wave activity and improving concentration.
LANC is the only centre in the UK to include QEEG brain mapping as part of its assessment and offers neurofeedback as an alternative to, or in addition to, ADHD medication.
