The Centre for Reproductive Medicine, Naples, at the prestigious international ivf clinic “Villa Del Sole”, was founded and is managed by Dr Brian Dale, a leading British fertility scientist. The unit is the largest in Southern Italy and is also the central office for a chain of Italian fertility centres, including Rome, Venice and Foggia. The highly professional and skilled staff are drawn from the UK, the USA, Switzerland and Italy, and are all proficient in the English language.
The Centre for Reproductive Medicine offers standard and advanced fertility treatments from insemination to ICSI, PGD and AH with excellent clinical pregnancy rates and boasts over 3000 born babies to date. In addition, the organisation provides a service for patients from all nationalities requiring sperm donation and oocyte donation for treatment in its sister centres in Switzerland, Spain and Greece.
Fertilisation and embryology specialists
Dr Dale Ph.D., D.Sc. (University of Manchester), with over 100 publications and 6 books on the topic of fertilisation and embryology, was the first to introduce ICSI to Italy, Switzerland and several Middle Eastern countries. Together with Dr Jacques Cohen from the USA, they have patented filter devices to ensure the quality of air in IVF units (CODA), now routinely used throughout the world, contributing to the improvement in growth of human embryos in vitro.
