Examinations
Hausken IVF has streamlined the process for
diagnosing infertility to help couples better understand their condition and treatment options. Once the cause has been determined, the clinic can begin designing a personalised treatment plan that is best suited for a couple’s individual needs to ensure the highest chances for success.
Laparoscopy
Examination of the pelvic region by using a small telescope called a laparoscope. The procedure is done with local anaesthetic and takes approximately 15 minutes. This procedure is important when diagnosing infertility caused by endometriosis or tubal disease.
Hysteroscopy
A visual examination of the uterine cavity using a small telescope called a hysteroscope. The procedure is done without any form of anaesthetic and takes only 5 minutes. It is usually performed to examine possible causes for unsuccessful embryo implantation.
Well-being
At Scanhealth fertility clinic, the goal is for all patients to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
The clinic is situated in the idyllic Norwegian coastal city of Haugesund and you are encouraged to spend some time there in connection with the IVF treatment. It is a unique chance to see the impressive Norwegian landscape with its famous, impressive fjords, and to let the fresh air reduce the stress and frustration you may be experiencing.
