Transform have been treating hair loss in men and women for over thirty years and fully understand how distressing both male hair loss and female hair loss can be.
Most of us will experience some hair thinning in our life - the only difference is the degree of hair loss. Both men and women can suffer hair loss as a result of factors including illness, diet problems and medications. However, the most widely known cause of hair loss is so-called "male pattern baldness" - and this manifests itself most commonly among men.
Although hair loss is more often than not hereditary, it can prove extremely distressing and embarrassing for many men, giving the impression that you're older than you really are.
There are a number of ways in which you can combat balding, making you look - and feel - younger. Their specialist team work within the guidelines of the International Society of Hair Restoration, and will be able to talk you through all of their hair loss treatments and recommend the best one for you.

Hair loss treatments
Options for male hair loss
If you are looking for more hair then the only option for guaranteed re-growth is a hair transplant. If you are still losing hair, Transform would also prescribe propecia with the view to maintaining the rest of your hair. Because a hair transplant is so gradual and therefore totally undetectable by your friends and colleagues Transform would recommend nanogen, an excellent cosmetic hair thickener.
Options for female hair loss
Once Transform have eradicated the cause and where possible stopped further loss, they would recommend a hair transplant along with nanogen, a cosmetic hair thickener that produces an immediate effect. If there is a nutritional deficiency, Transform would recommend Nourkrin, a hair loss supplement for ladies.
To replace hair already lost, Transform uses a state-of-the-art technique called random micro grafting. This involves the relocation of hair follicles from one area of the head to another.
Follicles will be moved from an area of your head not affected by DHT levels - usually the back or sides - into the area of hair loss. You will find that new hair will usually start to grow between three and six months after treatment - taking on the same colour and growing at the same rate as before the hair loss.
Because each graft is so small, this technique may also be used on patches of thinning hair as well as those that are already bald.
Hair loss treatment
Transform offers a range of treatments designed either to slow the rate of hair loss or to help replace lost hair entirely:
Hair Loss Lotion
One of the treatments uses a lotion which has highly effective stimulation properties. It works by increasing the blood supply to the surface of the scalp providing vital nutrients for the hair follicle. If successful, this principle produces thicker, longer, more visible hair.
Hair Loss Tablet
Amongst the most exiting and most recent developments in hair retention is a tablet which can also be used in conjunction with the lotion. It works on the key cause of hair loss by significantly reducing DHT which scientist have identified as a major influencing factor towards hair loss. The objective is to improve and preserve the existing hair and in may cases produce additional hair.
