The combination of advanced medical facilities and friendly, professional staff means any visit to the Gynae Centre will be a positive and fulfilling one. They promise to provide you with excellence and reassurance across a full range of services.

  • Well woman check - state-of-the-art screening technology can spot warning signs of cervical cancer, breast disease and pelvic disorders.

  • Abnormal vaginal bleeding - abnormal unprovoked vaginal bleeding commonly occurs from the uterus. At the Gynae Centre they can perform an investigation by ultrasound to elucidate the cause and recommend an appropriate treatment.

  • Abnormal smear & colposcopy - many women are wary of having a cervical smear test but in the welcoming surroundings of the Gynae Centre it really isn't something to fear.

  • Vaginal pain & discharge - vaginal discharge can be a distressing problem not only because of the discomfort it causes but also for the simple fact that it is connected with our most intimate parts.

  • Menopause - the average age for onset of menopause (cessation of period for 6 months) in women is 51 years. This is usually preceded by a phase of irregular periods or non-ovulation, which can involve abnormal vaginal bleeding and unstable hormone levels.

  • Fertility problems - if  you are having problems conceiving, then you certainly aren’t alone because as many as one in six couples in the UK are unable to conceive naturally.

  • Early pregnancy scans - the Gynae Centre can perform all early pregnancy scans.

  • Baby gender scan - the sex of your baby can be determined from as early as 12 weeks into your pregnancy. (Most clinics offer the sexing scan only from 16 weeks onwards.)

  • Sexual health - looking after sexual health is of paramount importance. Not only because sexual disease spread easily between partners but more importantly it can lead to serious and permanent damage to both women and men.

  • Gynaecological surgery - Dr Eskander has over 40 years experience in all gynaecological surgery, including surgery for fibroid i.e. myomectomies, hysterectomy, ovarian cyst removal and endometriosis.

  • Hymenoplasty or hymen repair - hymen repair is a simple operation which involves excision of the torn edges and suturing it with fine dissolvable sutures.

  • Labiaplasty - if the labia is too large it can cause discomfort during intercourse or when wearing trousers.

  • Vaginoplasty - the vaginal orifice tone is controlled by voluntary muscles ie pubovaginalis, superficial and deep transverses perini and bulbospongiosis muscles. The degree of sexual gratification depends on the tone (strength) of these muscles.

  • Telephone consultations -

consultations over the phone have been introduced at the Gynae Centre in response to the busy lifestyle of many of our customers.
