24 hour GP service

The team of General Practitioners has been set up by some of London’s most respected and well-established private doctors, all members of The Independent Doctors Forum (IDF).

London Acute Care General Practitioners are available at your home or in their consulting rooms and their aim is to get a Doctor to see you swiftly.

24 hour consultant specialists

All London Acute Care consultants have had extensive specialist training in their field and hold senior positions at leading London teaching hospitals. Many are recognised nationally and internationally as experts in their fields. They continue to receive ongoing professional training that keeps them at the forefront of their specialty.

Medical Team

London Acute Care works in partnership with teaching hospital consultants covering all medical specialities. The acute care team is led by Dr Paul Glynne, one of London’s leading Physicians. In-patient care is usually provided at The London Clinic.

Surgical Team

The surgical team is led by Mr Arj Shankar, Consultant Surgeon and Director of Surgery at University College London Hospitals. His team comprises leading consultants in all surgical sub-specialities.

24 hour diagnostic service

Radiology

Scans, X-rays or any interventional radiological procedures, as a matter of urgency during or out of working hours are done in partnership with The London Clinic to provide rapid access to the best in private healthcare.

London Acute Care is fully supported by the clinical expertise of staff and state of the art facilities of the London’s best private hospitals. Whenever possible they arrange admissions at The London Clinic, the largest single hospital in the UK.
