Package products	A packaged policy means that you have no choice on what covers or benefits you can include or exclude.
Choice of cover	Flexible plans which allow you to decide what you require and adjust the level of cover to suit your needs.
Limited cover	Often called "budget" policies, these can meet the needs of those who, for whatever reason, do not want full cover.
Shared risk	Allow you to accept an “excess”, or to pay a percentage of the treatment costs.
Cover for the elderly	Special schemes for older age groups, or where premiums are not age related.
Special cover plans	These include: Plans which offer cover for children only Convalescence care plans Plans for HM Forces personnel Hospital treatment plans, where the customer gets a fixed sum, wherever treatment is carried out. Major medical expenses plans which are limited to a small number of major diseases. Self pay protection plans, an insurance policy for those buying medical treatment themselves.
