Description

  • Personal Health gives you flexibility to choose from five options, including out-patient tests and consultations; acute surgery; complementary therapy; treatment for cancer and heart conditions; and dental and optical.

  • Personal Health includes a claims handling and customer care methodology, called Service+. With Service+ you will be able to use hospitals with the highest standards of medical excellence and patient care.

  • Personal Health has options to provide cover to diagnose and treat medical conditions that are likely to respond quickly to treatment, leading to your full recovery and returning you to the state of health you were in before suffering that episode of ill-health.

  • Routine GP or dental consultations

  • Normal pregnancy/childbirth

  • Psychiatric treatment

  • Out-patient drugs and dressings

  • Home nursing

  • Private ambulance

  • Cosmetic surgery

  • Self-inflicted illnesses and injuries

  • Regular renal dialysis

  • Option 1: No medical assessment (moratorium)

  • There is no need to provide any medical history. BCWA will not cover any pre-existing conditions that have occurred during the previous five years.

  • Option 2: Full medical assessment

  • You will need to complete a full medical questionnaire. BCWA will then write with details of any specific medical conditions that are excluded, but may cover some pre-existing conditions

  • Include children up to 21( 25 if in full time education)

  • Three levels of cover on dental and optical
