Scope aims to provide added protection for medical travelers. It covers specified additional expenses incurred in the destination country arising from medical complications of the treatment. This policy protects you during and after your treatment for the duration of your stay in the destination country

The policy only covers treatment in internationally accredited hospitals accredited by Joint Commission International(JCI)

It does not accept other national or international accreditors, so you need to check that the clinic or hospital that you are attending is accredited by JCI

You must declare that you are medically fit both to travel to the destination country for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment, and to undergo the medical treatment

Additional expenses means additional accommodation costs (including hospital or hotel), medical and travel costs incurred as a result of complications arising from the medical treatment.
