As part of an employee benefit scheme, an employer may take out group life on all employees. Sometimes the employers pays the premium, sometimes the employee pays the premium, and sometimes the cost is shared. Cover may be automatic for everyone, or on an opt- in voluntary basis.
An amateur or professional sports team may take out cover for all players.
A trade union, membership society or other group may arrange a scheme whereby members can buy simple life cover at a reduced cost.
Many of these policies require hundreds of members.
We have selected policies, which only require a handful of lives, to illustrate what is available.
