The schemes can be set up in four ways:

Company paid

Dental cover is offered as a core benefit for employees and is paid in full by the company.

Flexible benefit

If a company operates a Flex scheme for employees, dental payment plans can be part of the range of options employees can choose from.

Salary deduct

This allows employees the option to purchase dental cover with payments deducted direct from their salary.

Co-funding

Co-funding is where the company and employees share the cost.

Company Paid dental payment plans are available to all companies covering more than three employees. For other funding methods, a minimum of 100 employees is required.
