What the Company says about the product
According to statistics published by The Information Centre in February 2008, and reported by the British Dental Association, more than half a million people across England have lost access to NHS dentistry since the implementation of reforms in April 2006. This figure is in addition to the estimated 2 million people that the Department of Health recognised wanted access to dental treatment, but were unable to get before March 2006. As a result, many individuals now delay seeing a dentist until a problem is serious. For employers, however, there’s even more pain, as growing absenteeism through dental matters impacts on productivity. To help ensure your staff get the dental care they need, when they need it, we’ve created a cost-effective dental plan that gives both employers and employees something to really smile about.
Available in three plan levels – and covering routine dental check-ups and treatment, accident & injury, emergency and oral cancer treatments – Medicash Smile provides generous cash benefits towards both private and NHS dental care. Costing from just £1.50 per employee, per week and paying back 100% of treatment costs up to the policy limit, the plan is the perfect way to show your staff just how much you care about their oral welfare – and see they get the dental treatment they need quickly. Best of all, with the option to offer Medicash Smile as an employer-funded benefit, or as part of a flexible benefits scheme, the plan really will leave you smiling.
