Description 

Pays monthly mortgage and related payments for up to 12 months, should illness or injury prevent you working, or you become unemployed for no fault of your own

For

• Aged 18 to 64

• In paid employment for at least 16 hours a week

• UK resident 
   

Maximum amount payable

• 25% above mortage and related insurance payments

• 75% of your gross monthly earned income

• Monthly maximum £1800

Basis of cover

• Normal occupation

• Pays after 30 days

• Renewable up to 65 or early retirement or end of mortgage

• Maximum payout 12 months

• Reviewable premium at renewal

Not covered

• Back problems

• Mental or nervous disorders

• Mortgage Care Plus  adds a Living Care Benefit with no 12 months limit

• Monthly, Three year or Five Year basis
