Description  

• Pays your chosen amount of monthly benefit for up to 12 or 24 months if you are unable to work due to an accident, sickness or unemployment

• Can be used to pay your mortgage

For

• Aged 18 to  64
• Employees, contract workers and the self-employed

Maximum amount payable

• £1850 or 65% of your gross monthly income, whichever is less

Basis of cover

• Normal occupation

• Can include mortgage or rental cost

Benefits

• You choose the amount

• 'Back to work' telephone assistance

Options

• Accident and sickness cover with or without unemployment cover

• Unemployment cover only on 12 months basis

• 12 or 24 months cover for accident and sickness

• 12 or 24 months cover for accident and sickness and unemployment

• 30/60/90 day excess waiting period
