Description 

• Helps you if you lose your job, fall seriously ill, or have an accident

• Helps to cover your financial outgoings for up to 12 months in the event that either sickness, accident or unemployment prevent you from bringing in an income
     

For

• Aged 18 to 64

• Employees and the self employed

Maximum amount payable

• £1500 or 60% of your gross monthly income, whichever is less

Basis of cover

• Normal occupation

• Benefit paid for up to 12 months  
• Reviewable annually

Benefits

• You choose the amount

• Back to work support service

• Paid directly to you in addition to any other benefits (i.e. Statutory Sick Pay)

Not covered

• Pre-existing conditions

• Chronic conditions

• Any condition of a mental or nervous origin including stress, anxiety, depressions and post-natal depression unless certified and under the continuing care of a consultant psychiatrist

• Backache or related conditions unless there is supporting medical evidence

• Back to Day One (30 day wait period)
• 30 day wait period

• 60 day wait period

• 90 day wait period

• 180 day wait period
