Covers your ongoing financial obligations if you suffer an illness or injury, which is serious enough that it necessitates you being away from your work for an extended period of time.

The benefit will continue to be paid until you recover, return to work, or until the selected retirement age if the illness or injury is permanent and serious enough that you cannot return to work at all.

• UK citizens who are temporary or permanent expatriates

• Aged 18 to 55

• Employees and  self employed

Maximum amount payable

• 75% of your gross earnings

• US$15 million

Basis of cover

• Any occupation

• Pays till 65 or earlier death

• Reviewable

• Escalating annual benefit
