Description 

Short term cover to provide you with an income to help your mortgage payment and related insurance expenses when you cannot work due to an accident or sickness and/or unemployment.

For

• Aged 18 to 64

• Employees and the self employed and contract workers
   

Maximum amount payable

• 50% of gross monthly income

• £2000 a month

whichever is less

Basis of cover

• Normal occupation

• Benefit paid for up to 12 months

• Monthly renewable policy

• Carer cover

Not covered

• Chronic conditions

• Pre-existing medical conditions

• Spinal conditions not supported by medical evidence

• Stress, anxiety, and depression, unless diagnosed by a member or the Royal College of Psychiatrists

• 5 waiting period options: 0, 30, 60, 90 or 180 days
