Short term cover to provide you with an income to help meet your general living expenses or your monthly bills such as your mortgage, loan or credit card repayments, when you cannot work due to an accident or sickness and/or unemployment.

For

• Aged 18 to 64

• Employees and the self employed and contract workers
   

Maximum amount payable

• 50% of gross monthly income

• £1500 a month

whichever is less

Basis of cover

• Normal occupation

• Benefit paid for up to 12 months

• Monthly renewable policy

• 30 day waiting period

• Carer cover

Not covered

• Chronic conditions

• Pre-existing medical conditions

• Spinal conditions not supported by medical evidence

• Stress, anxiety, and depression, unless diagnosed by a member or the Royal College of Psychiatrists
