Pays out a guaranteed cash sum if you're diagnosed as suffering from a specified critical illness, terminal illness, or if you die.

  • Deafness

  • Heart attack

  • Heart valve replacement or repair

  • HIV infection from assault

  • HIV infection from blood transfusion

  • HIV infection from work in eligible occupation

  • Kidney failure

  • Loss of hands or feet

  • Loss of speech

  • Major organ transplant

  • Motor neurone disease

  • Multiple sclerosis

  • Paralysis of limbs

Warning

The insurer carries out random checks of recently started policies so if your policy is chosen, you'll be required within 30 days to undergo a medical examination. If you decline to be examined or, as a result of this examination, insurers find out that you've failed to tell them about a piece of material information, they can change or even cancel your policy.
