Description
Serious Illness Cover provides a tax free lump sum payment should your child or children be diagnosed with a serious illness or permanent disability
Only available as an option if serious illness cover for adults and/or life cover for adults is taken
Covers more illnesses, so you are more likely to get a payout when you have a serious illness.
Pays out based on severity, so you may also get a payout at an earlier stage of illness or disability. There are a few illnesses however, where a full payout may occur at a later stage of illness.
Provides for the possibility for multiple claims – so you could continue to be covered if your illness progresses or if you are diagnosed with an unrelated illness.
