The Practice was established in 1995 by Dr Julia Piper, a fully qualified General Medical and Cosmetic Practitioner. All treatments are carried out by either Dr Piper, who is a Member of the Association of Cosmetic Doctors and has been a GP for over 22 years or Rosie Clark SRN, one of our fully qualified Practice Nurses. All patients receive an initial consultation with Dr Piper or Rosie Clark to both assess suitability for treatment and to discuss the appropriate treatment, the procedure and potential results.

Non surgical cosmetic treatments in Leicester

Laser treatments can be used for a variety of conditions including:
Restylane® injections are used for filling fine lines and wrinkles particularly those around the mouth, nose and eyes. It is also used for lip enhancements and facial contouring. The practice also offers muscle relaxant injections such as Botox ® for the reduction of frown or worry lines and the latest in dermatologically tested chemical peels.

Dr Piper’s manner is both refreshing and reassuring and she maintains that making patients feel better isn’t just about pills and medicines. State of the art technology
It’s true to say that there are concerns about the safety and credibility of some providers of cosmetic treatments but visitors to Private General Practice Services can rest assured. The equipment used is entirely state-of-the-art and includes the top-of-the-range Gemini laser machine, made by Laserscope. This has pinpoint accuracy, and is more sophisticated than intense pulsed light machines typically found in beauty clinics. The Gemini machine is only sold to medical practices which are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and can only be used by qualified practitioners.
