Body toning and sculpting techniques
The Private Healthcare UK guide to non-surgical cosmetic treatments contains a number of articles explaining the treatments available, the science behind them and why they are a viable alternative to some of the popular cosmetic surgery procedures.
The guide has been provided by one of the UK’s leading non-surgical cosmetic clinics,
SkinGenesis
.
Targeted fat reduction
An alternative to Liposuction. Mesotherapy makes it possible to target specific areas of fat for removal. Unlike surgery there is no mechanical removal of the fat which has the benefit of no scars and no infection and no recovery time. Mesotherapy introduces ingredients, mainly amino acids naturally found in the body, deep into the subcutaneous layers of the skin which causes the unwanted fat to be metabolized. If the treatment is accompanied by a diet and a program of exercise the fat is burnt off and the required body shape is achieved. Spectacular results can be achieved using mesotherapy for targeted fat reduction with a reduction in waist measurements of more than 10cms not being uncommon.
Cellulite reduction
If you're wondering how to get rid of cellulite, you'll find that cellulite reduction treatments have vastly improved with the development of the new mesotherapy treatments and results can be dramatic. Cellulite is a description of the appearance of the skin that occurs when excess fat develops under weakened layers of the skin, mainly on the thighs and buttocks of females. Mesotherapy will tone and strengthen the outer layers of skin while simultaneously reducing the underlying fat.
Loose skin or Skin Flaps
The alternative to tummy tucks. The treatment is very successful for tightening mild to moderate loose skin and can be used on any part of the body. The treatment involves using mesotherapy to introduce ingredients into the skin that will tighten and tone. The treatments are painless and require no recovery time although during the duration of the treatments a mild irritation is sometimes experienced. When used for mild or moderate loose skin the results are comparable with surgery with the added benefit of no residual scarring.
