Imaging facilities
At Professional Cosmetic Surgery, your comfort is most important. Professional Cosmetic Surgery have carefully designed this specialised environment just for you.
The Professional Cosmetic Surgery treatment room has a soothing ambience and is fully equipped to exacting standards, including the latest imaging facilities and age management evaluation systems. As a routine, Professional Cosmetic Surgery takes pre and post-procedure standardised photographs (and videos if appropriate) in their mini studio. Using imaging software, they offer 2D simulations of end results for most procedures, which gives clients a good idea of the desired outcome. These images are an excellent way for Mr Prakash to gain a good understanding of the patient's expectations and, also, for the client to appreciate the degree of improvement that can be realistically achieved.
SPACE
3D photographs
When required, Professional Cosmetic Surgery take high resolution 3D photographs for the assessment and analysis of skin texture and/or improvement in quality. This equipment allows them to monitor the improvement of the smallest of facial marks and Professional Cosmetic Surgery are in the process of obtaining a full-face 3D imaging camera for the evaluation of larger areas that may require treatment.
Interactive information software
Professional Cosmetic Surgery also have patient information software which is interactive. It introduces and describes the various procedures and treatments that they offer and enables you to highlight any areas that may be of concern to you. Professional Cosmetic Surgery are constantly updating their equipment and systems to keep pace with the latest technology. This ensures that Mr Prakash is able to offer his clients the most up-to-date treatments available.
CO2 laser resurfacing for skin disorders
Laser resurfacing is a procedure that selectively abrades the upper layers of the skin using the heat generated from a resurfacing laser. It works by means of vaporising the damaged skin layers and allowing the healthier cells, from deeper layers of skin, to surface and form a new smoother outer layer of skin.
Erbium laser resurfacing
The erbium laser provides a safer, more accurate, and less painful method of restoring
softer, smoother, more youthful looking skin. Erbium is a milder laser and produces less dramatic results compared to the CO2 laser. As it is milder, the discomfort, possible complications, and recovery time are also reduced. It is preferred in cases where mild to moderate improvement is needed or in case of sensitive skin.
Laser blepharoplasty: eyelid surgery
The eyes are the main focal point of the face. They play a major role in the attractiveness of the face (at rest and in dynamic movement). Cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) can remove excess eyelid skin, correct bagginess and puffiness of the eyelids.
Blepharoplasty is usually considered after the age of 35. The idea behind blepharoplasty is fine tuning of the eyelids’ shape, size and enhancing the glow of the eyes. Ideally the upper lid should be just touching the upper part of the iris and the lower lid should be just touching the lower part of the iris without covering too much of the iris or exposing too much of the same. Any deviation from the normal position of the eyelid could be due to the ageing process, heredity, any birth deformity, smoking, sun damage, inflammation, infection or trauma.
Facial skin rejuvenation
Facial skin rejuvenation involves using skin peels to rejuvenate the skin. Skin peels work by removing the top layer of dead cells and stimulating the neighbouring cells to rejuvenate with newer cells. There are different kinds of peels based on the layer of the skin that they act upon, the base composition of the peeling agent, and the mechanism.
Obagi Blue Peel
The Obagi Blue Peel is a fast way to dramatically improve the appearance and health of your skin. It effectively removes layers of aged and damaged skin and replaces dead skin cells with healthier ones. This allows the skin's own clarity and tightness to resurface.
Unlike common alpha-hydroxy peels or other superficial procedures, Obagi Blue Peel allows the skin care professional to precisely control the peel in order to tailor the process to your skin’s specific needs.
Spider vein treatment
Spider veins (Telangiectasias) are the string like, unsightly clusters of red, blue or purple veins, usually in combination with small superficial varicose veins. These usually appear on the thighs, calves and ankles. Spider vein treatment is one of the most rewarding, non-surgical procedures with respect to results and relatively short recovery time.
Scar management
In an appearance-conscious society any marks or scars are more conspicuous and noticed. Most moderate to major scars require stronger treatment available from medical practitioners only.
Professional Cosmetic Surgery offer scar management via surgery, radiation, pressure, silicone gel sheath, laser surgery, argon laser, Nd:Yag Laser, pulsed dye laser, or intralesional cortocisteroid.
