Surgeons

Surgeons and clinics are strictly controlled in Hungary. All surgeons who wish to specialise in Cosmetic surgery must be qualified and experienced general surgeons which means that a surgeon will have a minimum of 13 years training before becoming a cosmetic surgeon.

All doctors have to be registered and receive permission to practise from the government department, Orvosi Kamara, (Hungarian Medical Chamber) and are members of the Hungarian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Hungarian dentists and surgeons’ qualifications are acknowledged in the UK, and in fact many do work internationally and in the UK. 

The team of doctors in their partner clinic have had many years of experience, are outstanding in their field and up-to-date with the latest procedures and techniques in cosmetic surgery.

Facilities

 The Budapest cosmetic surgery clinic is located on the first floor of the medical and spa area of The Health Spa Resort Margaret Island hotel which is on an island situated in the heart of the city between the banks of Buda and Pest. The Health Spa Resort Margaret Island, offering an oasis of relaxation and green parkland and only minutes away from the main tourist attractions of the city is an ideal place for surgery and recuperation.

The clinic is equipped with the most modern facilities including a computer system that forecasts the expected results of specific surgery on the client’s appearance. The clinic has its own recovery room, whilst the hotel provides clients with accommodation, if required, with rooms on the first floor (same level as clinic) so you are never too far from nursing care (24 hrs).
