Cancer is a malignant tumor disease that is formed due to abnormal and uncontrolled cell growth. Symptoms of cancer are enlarged and tender lymph nodes, abnormal bleeding, fatigue, weight loss, chronic cough and fever. Common causes of cancer are alcohol, tobacco or beetle nut chewing and an unhealthy lifestyle. The two main factors causing cancer are environmental and heredity factors. The prognosis is usually poor for malignant and end stage cancers. Management includes chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.
