Pro Scan Imaging provides high-resolution, state-of-the-art MRI scanning inclusive of Consultant Radiologist report. Self-referrals are accepted, and MRI scans can be booked within 1-2 days. No waiting lists also means that same day scans are sometimes available. The clinic also offers X-ray imaging and CT scan services.

The cutting-edge Siemens MRI scanner at Pro Scan Imaging produces high resolution images with fast scanning times. It has a wide bore to reduce the chances of claustrophobia and to make patients feel more comfortable.

At Pro Scan Imaging, MRI scans are performed by experienced radiographers with a background in both the NHS and the independent sector. The scans are then reported on by Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) Consultant Radiologists who are specialised in body specific areas. Dual reporting, where two consultant radiologists independently interpret a patient’s MRI scan images, is also available if required.

Services at Pro Scan Imaging include a pre scan telephone consultation and IEP (image exchange portal) image transfer to any NHS or Private Hospital for consultant follow up.  Consultant Radiologist written reports are available within 48 hours and can be sent directly to the patient or a referring clinician.

Self paying patients

Prices for MRI scans start from £349. The MRI scan package includes:

• One area MRI scan (booked within 1-3 days)
• Consultant Radiologist written report within 48 hours
• Pre scan telephone consultation and scan referral
• Option to discuss results post scan for most scans, including all musculoskeletal related scans, to be agreed at the time of booking
• Image Exchange Portal transfer of scans to any Private or NHS Hospital/Consultant if required

Pro Scan Imaging also provides a Brain and Body scan package at a very competitive price, with the option of a zero interest monthly payment plan.  The package includes detailed images of the following areas:

• MRI Brain scan
• MRI Cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine (Whole Spine)
• MRI Abdomen – screening to include liver, kidney, spleen, pancreas, etc.
• MRI Pelvis, including both hips and sacroiliac joints

Pricing quotes for CT scanning, CT heart calcium score scans or X-ray services are available on request.

Payment can be made on the day of the scan or up to 48 hours from the scan taking place. Patients have the option to pay securely through the online booking system.
